Bangladesh’s Rupantarita Prakritik Gas Company Ltd (RPGCL) has issued a tender seeking two liquefied natural gas cargoes for delivery in early October, two industry sources said on Tuesday.

The state-owned entity is seeking the cargoes for delivery on Oct. 2-3 and 4-5. The tender will close on Sept. 22.

Bangladesh had suspended spot purchases of LNG following the shutdown of the Summit LNG terminal, which was damaged during a cyclone. The terminal had been offline since late May.

The terminal has since been repaired and ready for operations, Summit LNG said last week.
