Following the obligation of consuming fuels of 1.00% sulphur content in North American ECA, the last amendments adopted by the International Maritime Organization, came into force within the limits of these Emission Control Areas (ECAs). CEPSA PANAMA, S.A., in order to comply with ECA’s requirements and to match its customers’ needs, is ready to offer 1.00% sulphur content fuels at Balboa Port, Panama. Thanks to Cepsa’s quality standards, CEPSA PANAMA, S.A. will guarantee the best quality of these fuels and all products, always adapting to the market demand and international standard regulations.
In order to reach CEPSA’s main objective, Client’s Satisfaction, we constantly work on finding the best formulas combining its musts: quality and service. Being ready to supply FO 1.00% in Balboa port is one more achievement of CEPSA’s formula.
CEPSA is a 100% IPIC energy group, with a workforce of nearly 12,000 employees, engaged in activities that span the entire oil value chain: exploration and production of oil and gas; refining, transportation and marketing of petroleum products and natural gas; biofuels; and electric power cogeneration and sales. CEPSA has a world-class petrochemicals division that is tightly integrated into its oil refining segment, manufacturing and selling raw materials for the production of high value-added components chiefly used in making new-generation plastics and biodegradable detergents. Not only is CEPSA a major player in Spain, but it is also broadening its global portfolio of operations in countries such as Algeria, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Egypt, Panama, Peru and Portugal, selling its products around the world.
Today, CEPSA PANAMA’s main activity is focused on supplying fuel oil for vessels in both ports of the Panama Canal, Balboa and Cristobal, complying with the rigorous environmental standards.
