Indonesia’s Pertamina seeks spot gasoline, including Singapore cargoes

Friday, 04 July 2025 | 12:00

Indonesia’s Pertamina on Wednesday sought up to 1.5 MMbbl of 90-octane grade of gasoline, including supplies from Singapore, for delivery between July 20 and July 30 on a free-on-board basis in a spot tender, according to a document seen by media, as per Hydrocarbonprocessing.

This spot tender from Asia’s largest gasoline importer comes after three term tenders issued by the state-run company’s trading arm Pertamina Patra Niaga between May and June, records show.

The spot tender closes on Thursday and is valid till Friday, the document specified. The company’s term tender for gasoline issued in May had restrictions on Singapore-origin cargoes.

Indonesia’s energy minister had said in May that the country is considering to reduce fuel imports from Singapore, its largest gasoline supplier, and instead increase supply from the United States as part of negotiations over steep U.S. tariffs.

Pertamina’s trading arm, Pertamina Patra Niaga, did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
