About two-third of Angola’s August cargoes have been sold, traders said on Thursday, while Nigeria’s Dangote refinery was heard to be taking five domestic cargoes in August.
About 11 or 12 Angolan cargoes are still available for August, a trader said, out of 31 cargoes listed in the loading programme.
Offers are pretty much the same, traders have said this week, with buyers deterred by some asking prices given the strong Brent market structure boosting the price of prompt loading dates.
On Nigerian crude, levels heard this week include Forcados at dated Brent plus $4.00, Qua Iboe at dated Brent plus $3.00, Bonga at dated Brent plus $4.50 and Agbami at dated Brent plus $1.00. No changes were heard to thse levels on Thursday.
