Tuesday, 22 October 2024 | 20:00

Middle East crude benchmark premiums for Dubai, Oman and Murban gained on Tuesday, all reversing declines from the prior session.

ASIA-PACIFIC CRUDE:

Taiwan’s CPC issued a tender seeking sweet crude for arrival in January, which closed on Tuesday.

Taiwan’s Formosa issued a tender to buy December-loading sour crude that closed on Tuesday.

Thai refiner IRPC bought one Murban cargo at $1.60 a barrel above Dubai quotes from Gunvor and 1 million barrels of Qatar Marine from Unipec at a small premium to the official selling price. The cargoes will load in December.

SINGAPORE CASH DEALS

Cash Dubai’s premium to swaps climbed 5 cents to $1.59 a barrel.

Shell will deliver a December-loading Upper Zakum crude cargo to Mitsui following the deals.

China has raised crude oil import quota for non-state-owned firms to 257 million metric tons (5.14 million barrels per day) for 2025, the commerce ministry said on Tuesday.

U.S. crude oil stockpiles likely rose last week, while distillate and gasoline inventories were seen down, a preliminary Reuters poll showed on Monday.
