Indonesian energy major Pertamina is seeking around 800,000 barrels of jet fuel spot cargoes for delivery between end-June and July via a purchase tender, three sources who received the tender document said on Monday.

The state-owned company is hoping to buy – via its trading arm Pertamina Patra Niaga – four 200,000-barrel cargoes of the aviation fuel for June 29-July 1, July 5-7, July 10-12 and July 14-16 delivery to Jakarta, the sources said.

The tender closes on June 11 with validity till June 13.

Pertamina had earlier sought up to 1.8 million barrels of the fuel for June delivery either to Jakarta or Surabaya, Reuters records showed.

Pertamina Patra Niaga did not immediately respond to a Reuters’ query for comment.
