Vietnam’s Petrolimex is seeking to buy three end-June to early-July gasoil cargoes and 11 July to September jet fuel cargoes via two purchase tenders, two sources familiar with the matter said on Tuesday.
Petrolimex declined to comment.
The fuel distributor is seeking two 35,000 metric ton (260,750 barrels) 500ppm sulphur gasoil cargoes for delivery on June 26-30 and July 6-10 and one 35,000-ton 10ppm sulphur gasoil cargo for delivery June 26-30 as part of its regular spot buying requirement, they said.
The tender closes on June 11, with offers to be valid until June 14.
Additionally, the company is looking to buy three jet fuel cargoes loading on July 15-21, July 23-29 and July 27-31, and four cargoes each in August and September from mostly southeast Asia or south China, one source said.
The volume for each cargo is between 10,000 tons and 12,000 tons, with the purchase tender closing on June 12.
The company is also yet to close its purchase tender for term supplies delivering between July and December.
