Low margins may prompt rationalisation in refinery runs for the industry in the fourth quarter, Carmen Lopez-Contreras Gonzalez, head of research and analysis at Repsol Trading, a unit of Spanish energy firm Repsol, said on Tuesday.

“We should be closely looking the next quarter to what will happen to outages,” she said on a panel at the APPEC event in Sinagpore.

“Maybe we will witness a bit of rationalisation,” she said.
