June 6, (Reuters) 6 June (Reuters) Russian gas flow to Europe directly into Germany increased on Monday, up from their levels during the weekend, but other flows were stable.
The physical flow to Germany via Nord Stream 1 pipeline Nord Stream 1 pipeline under the Baltic Sea rose to 68,537,884 Kilowatt Hours per Hour (kWh/h) early on the Monday of this week, up from 66,522,627 per hour over the last 24 hours. The flows were in line with requests from customers.
Nominations for the flow of Russian gas into Slovakia from Ukraine through crossing the Velke Kapusany border point were unaffected compared to Saturday’s 36.8 millions cubic meters (mcm) each day the Ukrainian transmission system operator.
The Russian company Gazprom (GAZP.MM) confirmed that the gas it supplies to Europe via Ukraine through Sudzha. Sudzha access point recorded in the range of 40.1 million cubic meters (mcm) the previous Monday. This was which was unchanged from 40.1 Mcm on Sunday.
An application to deliver gas via a second major entrance location, Sokhranovka, was rejected by Ukraine, Gazprom said.
Gas flows from the Eastbound pipeline via the Yamal-Europe pipeline Germany towards Poland were steady and conformed to nominations, or requests, for gas.
Exit flows from the Mallnow metering station at the German border with Poland reached 3,337,128 kWh/h. This was up from 3,170, kWh/h on the previous day however, they were less than the level they had on Friday when they were at 4,408,350 kWh/h.
