Cepsa Panama operates new barge in Balboa Port, Panama

With the aim of giving a better service to its customers, CEPSA PANAMA, S.A. has put into place a new barge in the Port of Balboa, Panama. The double hull barge is the Venebunker 7, built in 2008 and holds the most advanced technology. It has been specially designed to supply marine products in terms of manoeuvres, pumping rates, automatic blenders, radar soundings and meters. It segregates up to 4 different products, 2 for heavy products and 2 for lighter ones, providing a great versatility in everyday operations.
The Venebunker 7 is 6.942 MT DWT with a pumping rate of 2x1.000 m3/h for heavy and 2x150 for light products, and with capacity of 6.150 MT for heavy products and 1.100 MT for lighter ones. This ship can develop a speed of 9 knots complying with all the international regulations required in terms of safety and environmental contamination. In order to reach CEPSA PANAMA, S.A. main objective, its client’s satisfaction, CEPSA constantly works on finding the best formulas combining its musts: service and quality. This new barge operating in Balboa Port has come to configure an excellent example of CEPSA PANAMA, S.A. formula, guaranteeing the delivery of premium customer service.
