Lingering February cargoes were expected to be absorbed into Europe or oil majors’ refining systems, traders said on Thursday, while India’s IOC mopped up a few Nigerian cargoes.

About five cargoes of February loading Angolan crude were still available including Cabinda, Clov, Mondo and Pazflor with Chevron, Total and Exxon Mobil.

Around 25 cargoes of February loading Nigerian crude were still around as well as two cargoes of Congolese Djeno.

Ghanaian Jubilee was offered at dated Brent plus $1.00 and Djeno below dated minus $3.00.

Perenco awarded a sale tender for Mandji crude. An Asian refiner was said to be the winner.

India’s IOC awarded a March loading tender taking one Usan, two cargoes of Agbami and one Nemba from Total and Chevron.

Trade union on Thursday called for strikes in the refinery sector against plans to make people work longer before they can retire, and Paris metro unions said they would do “everything they can” to stop the pension reform.
