West African crude differentials were steady on Friday as the focus remained on the dwindling volume of March cargoes that have yet to find buyers.
Around four Angolan and 14 Nigerian cargoes are unsold for March loading, a trader said, indicating cargoes have continued to find buyers this week.
Nigerian state oil company NNPC has said a fire on a crude storage barge at its Cawthorne Channel facility in the coastal Rivers state had been contained with no casualties.
Nigerian Bonny Light was last on offer at around dated Brent plus $1.80, while Forcados was heard on offer at around dated Brent plus $3.50.
Neither of those offer levels have changed in recent days, and are down from where cargoes of those grades were being offered before that, suggesting sellers are struggling to find demand.
