South Korea’s GS Caltex has kicked off its October-loading spot gasoil discussions via a sales tender, three sources close to the matter said on Thursday.
The private refiner is offering at least three mid-October-loading gasoil cargoes – two 10 ppm sulphur cargoes and one 500 ppm sulphur cargo – via the tender, they added.
The tender will close on Sept. 15 with same-day validity.
The 10 ppm sulphur cargoes are scheduled to load on Oct. 12-14 and Oct. 15-17, while the 500ppm sulphur cargo is set to load on Oct. 13-15.
Separately, SK Energy – the country’s other major spot fuel exporter owned by SK Innovation 096770.KS – also offered a few early October-loading gasoil shipments via private buyer negotiations early this week, one of the three sources said.
Exact pricing details or loading dates for these cargoes, however, could not be confirmed.
