Addendum to Berthing Policy St Tariff Structure (BPTS 2021-22)

Circular received from Gangavaram Port, regarding amendments to the Berthing policy and Tariff Structure 21-22, with immediate effect. 1.Shifting / Turnaround Charges (BPTS Section IV sub section N) GPL clarifications as per below: a.No Shifting charges shall be levied if the vessel is shifted on the account of Port Convenience. b.Shifting charges at the rate of 50% of pilotage charges shall be levied, if the vessel is shifted on specific request of the vessel agent for their operational convenience. c.In all other cases, shifting charges shall be levied as per BPTS. 2.Stevedoring Tariff – Calculation of crane idling charges due crane failure for the vessels berthed at Gangavaram Port (BPTS Section VI sub section A) GPL clarifications as per below: If the vessel cargo handling gear declaration mentioning about any crane breakdown is declared at the time of nomination of the vessel and if the same vessel is accepted by the port with the declared deficiency, no crane idling charges shall be levied. 3.Lay-up Berth hire (Section-IV sub-section H): GPL clarifications as per below: No additional lay-up berth hire hours shall be applicable if the vessel is berthed at Berth-4, 5 and 6 where cargo is loaded/ un-loaded with Port’s mechanised system and delay is not caused on account of vessel. 4.Exchange Rate – pegged with SBI: GPL clarifications as per below: Presently Gangavaram Port is being managed on stand-alone basis and under way a merger process with APSEZ. Once the formal merger process with APSEZ is completed, uniform policy shall be followed in line with other Adani Ports to Gangavaram Port in relation to the applicable Exchange Rate – pegged with any particular bank. 5.Applicable refunds: GPL clarifications as per below: All outstanding refunds, if applicable, shall be made within 15 days of receipt of the request. 6.SOF – on account of rain / bQ.d weathers: GPL clarifications as per below: Gangavaram Port is following the best practices of the trade and providing best services. If trade is facing any issues, our management is very keen to resolve it to the highest satisfaction to the trades in the shortest duration. 7.Misc Service Charges (BPTS Section 2) GPL clarifications as per below: a.Gate entry permission charges of Rs. 8000/- shall not be levied for the following categories: •Draft Surveyors •P & I Surveyors •Class Surveyors •Bunker Surveyors •Superintendents of ship representing ship owner •Port Captain •Authorized Cash Delivery (CTM) •Flag State Inspectors. Note: All other categories other than the above mentioned shall be charged as per BPTS b.Visitor pass charges shall be applicable to all the categories other than the statutory authorities. 8.Pilot Memo: Minimum notice required for filing pilot request through Email ( BPTS section 13): GPL clarifications as per below: Pilot memo for outward pilot request may be given indicating the pilot required time as AM / PM hours. 9.Timely intimation for additional vessel related charges GPL clarifications as per below: All additional vessel related charges payable to GPL shall be notified at the earliest. It is observed that at times, there are last moment requirements from the vessel though necessary but same leads to delay in furnishing the information. Bhutan, British Virgin Islands, China (Mainland), Côte d’Ivoire (Ivory Coast), Djibouti, Equatorial Guinea, Falkland Islands (Malvinas), Fiji, The Gambia, Guinea, Hong Kong (Chinese Special Administrative Region), Indonesia, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Liberia, Montserrat, Oman, Pakistan, Paraguay, Rwanda, Saba (Special Municipality of the Kingdom of Netherlands), Saint Barthelemy, São Tomé and Príncipe, Senegal, Sierra Leone. Sint Eustatius, Taiwan, Timor-Leste (East Timor), Togo, Uganda, United Arab Emirates RED LIST Eswatini, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Spain YELLOW LIST All other countries/territories/jurisdictions not otherwise listed hereinabove The classification of “Green,” “Yellow,” and “Red” shall be effective from 01 January 2022, until 15 January 2022. Upon the recommendation of the Department of Foreign Affairs, the national COVID-19 vaccination certificate of the following countries, namely Armenia, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Kuwait, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Thailand, United States of America, and Oman shall be accepted/recognized for purposes of arrival quarantine protocols as well as for interzonal/intrazonal movement, in addition to such other countries/territories/jurisdictions whose proofs of vaccination the IATF already approved for recognition in the Philippines, and without prejudice to such other proofs of vaccination approved by IATF for all inbound travelers. The Bureau of Quarantine, the Department of Transportation – One-Stop-Shop, and the Bureau of Immigration are directed to recognize only the proofs of vaccination thus approved by the IATF.
