Ukraine plans to accumulate up to 16.5 billion cubic metres (bcm) of natural gas in storage for the 2023/2024 heating season, the government said on Tuesday.
As of now, Kyiv has 15.8 billion cubic metres in its underground storage, it said on the Telegram messaging app.
The energy ministry said on Monday that foreign traders had increased the volume of natural gas they have in underground storage in Ukraine to 2.4 bcm as of Oct. 16.
