Exports of gas condensate, a kind of light oil, from Russia’s Yamal LNG grew by 14.3% year-on-year in January-August to 640,000 tons, according to Refinitiv ship-tracking data and traders.
In August, gas condensate from Yamal’s port of Sabetta stood at 80,000 tons, unchanged from July.
Two tankers, Boris Sokolov and Yuriy Kuchiev, export gas condensate from Sabetta in the Arctic. Each of them is able to carry 40,000 tonnes of the product, mainly to Rotterdam and Terneuzen.
