Angolan state oil firm Sonangol started offering August-loading spot cargoes this week and has already sold one of them, traders said on Friday.
* Sonangol offered a Girassol cargo at dated Brent plus $2.00 and a Saxi at dated plus 50 cents.
The Girassol offer was lower than one seen in early June when Sonangol offered a July cargo at dated Brent plus $2.30.
* Sonangol on Thursday sold an August-loading Dalia that was offered at dated Brent plus 25 cents.
* The Angolan firm allocated a total of 10 cargoes to term customers, a source said.
* On Nigerian crude, an overhang of unsold cargoes has been pressuring differentials, traders said this week. The August-loading programmes, due over the coming days, will boost that total.
