Daily Bunker Fuel and Oil Report

Friday, 09 August 2013 | 09:55
A bunker fuel and oil report, detailing the day per day trading patterns and prices in the market. The report is prepared from OW Risk Management and covers all major bunker fuel oil markets around the world, including all major ports, ranging from Singapore to Rotterdam.

Market in Brief

Brent ended lower in 107 after having traded at the lowest for over a month in yesterday’s session. Concerns that the FED might end their quantitative measures earlier than expected could have sparked the selloff in Brent, together with the psychological breach of 107. Market is trading a tick higher this morning on a better than expected factory output.

The market still seems range bound between $105- $110. Balanced by better economic output and a stabilization in the Chinese Economy, versus an ending of quantitative easing by FED and a softer tone in the nuclear talks between US and Iran.

  Fueloil Specifics

Singapore like yesterday was closed. The 380 Cargo FOB Spore fell roughly $5 to $594.74 and the 3.5% Rotterdam Barges fell $10 to 586.
