Russia may lift a gasoline export ban if there is a supply surplus, Interfax news agency reported on Thursday citing Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak.
There are no concerns for the Russian fuel market at the moment, Novak said at the Russian energy week forum, adding that Moscow refinery is working at full capacity.
“The market is fully supplied with the necessary volumes of gasoline, diesel fuel. We do not see any situations here that would cause concerns. Now there are enough oil products on the stock exchange and prices at gasoline stations are stable,” Interfax cited Novak as saying.
Novak also said that all countries participating in the OPEC+ deal are in full compliance with their commitments, and that OPEC+ is not discussing any changes to the parameters of the deal.
“We are watching, monitoring the market situation in terms of the balance of supply and demand,” he said.
