Russia’s crude oil loading plan from the Baltic ports of Primorsk and Ust-Luga for September has been revised higher by 0.2 millon metric tons to 6.2 million tons, market sources said.
Russia’s largest oil company, Rosneft, has added about 200,000 tons of Urals crude oil on top of the original loading plan for the Baltic ports, as it seeks to divert flows from other destinations, they added.
Rosneft was not available for comment.
Additional exports will increase planned oil loadings in September from Russian western ports to 2.04 million barrels per day, Reuters calculations show. September loadings will rise by 4.5% from August on a daily basis.
Russia’s September oil shipments from Primorsk, Ust-Luga and Novorossiisk had been scheduled to rise just 1.5% on a daily basis from the August plan, Reuters calculations based on the initial loading plan showed.
Russia initially planned to load some 2.1 million metric tons of Urals, Siberian Light and KEBCO from Novorossiisk and some 6.0 million tonnes of Urals and KEBCO grades from Primorsk and Ust-Luga, traders’ estimates showed.
