DP World, in collaboration with OneStop, is pleased to announce the launch of OptiBook, an innovative container management solution at DP World Fisherman Island Terminal, Brisbane.

This system reduces dwell times, optimises truck utilisation and promotes safer, more sustainable supply chains. Transport operators will experience a smoother more efficient container booking experience, where they can manage all their containers from a single, intuitive screen via the platform.

OneStop’s OptiBook, an extension of the Vehicle Booking System is scheduled to go live on Thursday, 10 July 2025.

Nicolaj Noes, Executive Vice President, Oceania, DP World said: “This is part of a broader strategy to enhance our overall offering at our terminal in Brisbane, the key trade hub to facilitate flow of goods at the core of Queensland’s economy. Our team will work with OneStop to ensure our customers are properly onboarded onto the new platform, to access a faster and more efficient booking experience.”

DP World Fisherman Island will initially operate OptiBook at the vessel level to ensure a smooth transition. OptiBook has been designed to work seamlessly with the existing VBS processes and operators can continue to book, manifest, and manage stack runs as usual — now with the added benefit of enhanced visibility in the Container List screen. This includes hold status, estimated discharge and storage start dates, and the new Notify Me feature to keep them informed when containers are ready to book.
