Tuesday, 14 January 2025 | 01:00

With a view to advancing sustainable growth in port activity and in the logistics sector as a whole, the second edition of the International Sustainable Port Conference will be held on 6 and 7 February 2025. Over two days, experts in various fields related to port activity and sustainability will share their knowledge and exchange ideas and experiences in an event designed to shape a common strategy and to highlight the important role ports play in the sustainable development of the economy, society and the environment, as well as the support they offer both companies and society as a whole in meeting the challenges of the energy transition.

Organised by the Bilbao Port Authority in collaboration with the Bilbao Chamber of Commerce, the II International Sustainable Port Conference will bring together in Bilbao and Getxo representatives from government administration and public authorities, companies related to transport, logistics and port activity, organisations from the energy, innovation, sustainability and circular economy sectors, the academic world and the general public.

Among the confirmed speakers there are experts and internationally recognised figures such as the consultant in advice, research and executive education in ports and logistics worldwide, Peter de Langen; or two of Spain’s leading experts in conservation biology and global change: Miguel Delibes and Eloy Revilla.
