Russia’s September exports of ultra low-sulphur diesel (ULSD) from the Baltic Sea port of Primorsk are set to fall by 29% month on month on a daily basis to 1.08 million metric tons, from 1.57 million metric tons scheduled for August, two traders said.
Diesel exports are falling due to heavy planned seasonal maintenance at Russia’s refineries and strong domestic demand, traders added.
Russia’s offline primary oil refining capacity is expected to rise by 43% in September from August to 4.343 million metric tons, industry sources said and Reuters calculations showed on Friday.
