Net input of crude oil by U.S. refineries rose to 16.7 million barrels last week, its highest since June 2022, data from the U.S. Energy Information Agency showed.

U.S. West Coast refinery utilization rose to 96.7%, the highest since September 2018, while utilization by midwest refineries rose to 98.6%, the highest in two years.
