Key U.S. ports of Brownsville and Corpus Christi have reopened and are operating without restrictions after Storm Francine, now downgraded from a hurricane, passed through Louisiana further inland on Thursday.
The port of Brownsville near the border with Mexico and other smaller terminals in Texas had been closed in advance of Francine on Monday, while Corpus Christi was working but with restrictions.
