Kazakhstan says its oil exports to Germany will fall to 160,000 tons in June

Friday, 27 June 2025 | 13:00

Kazakhstan’s crude oil exports to Germany will decline to 160,000 metric tons this month from 230,000 tons in May, Kazakh energy company KazMunayGaz said on Thursday.

It added that supplies, dispatched via Russia’s Druzhba oil pipeline, for this year are still expected at 2 million tons, or around 40,000 barrels per day, up from 1.5 million tons in 2024.

Kazakhstan has given its oil, supplied via Russia, the name KEBCO (Kazakhstan Export Blend Crude Oil) to distinguish it from Russia’s Western-sanctioned Urals blend.
