Kazakhstan’s average daily oil output remained unchanged month on month in December, at 1.624 million barrels per day (bpd), according to Reuters calculations based on information from two sources familiar with the data.
That is almost in line with the quotas set by OPEC and non-OPEC producers of 1.628 million bpd.
Kazakhstan’s energy ministry did not immediately reply to a request for comment.
The Central Asian nation produced a total of 8.02 million tonnes of oil and gas condensate in December, according to the sources.
