GL Terminal Invests in Envilog to Advance Digitized, End-to-End Logistics Solutions in Indonesia

Thursday, 10 April 2025 | 00:00

GL Terminal, an integrated logistics service provider based in East Jakarta, Indonesia, has acquired a 30 percent equity stake in Envilog—a digital logistics platform that connects port terminals, depots, trucking providers, and Customs authorities across Indonesia. Finalized in March 2025, the investment aligns physical infrastructure with digital integration to accelerate the modernization of Indonesia’s logistics sector.

Founded in 2020, GL Terminal operates a 17,500 square meter bonded warehouse (PLB), a 26,000 square meter open yard and container depot, and manages a fleet of 200 trucks. Its services include bonded warehousing, reefer handling, domestic and international freight forwarding (sea, air, land), Customs clearance, and tailored inland transport and distribution across more than 82,000 delivery points.

According to Paul Good, Chairman of GL Terminal, the investment is designed to close the gap between physical infrastructure and digital systems. “Envilog is addressing a critical market need by digitizing container flows across the supply chain,” said Good. “This partnership strengthens our ability to offer end-to-end logistics services that are faster, more transparent, and easier to scale.”

Envilog provides a suite of digital tools—including Envi-Customs, Envi-Truck, Envi-Port, Envi-Depot, and Envi-Bonded —that allow logistics stakeholders to coordinate truck bookings, manage port access, file Customs declarations, and generate digital gate and depot passes. Its platform is host-to-host integrated with Indonesia’s Ceisa 4.0 system and is currently connected to five major port terminals in Jakarta.

Yanti Agustinova, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Envilog, said the partnership provides the operational foundation to scale the platform more effectively. “Our goal has always been to digitize the container journey end to end —from Customs and bonded zones to terminal and depot flows,” said Agustinova. “Working alongside GL Terminal gives us the infrastructure and strategic alignment we need to expand our services and deliver even greater value to importers, exporters, and carriers.”

This partnership positions both companies to meet rising demand for visibility, automation, and compliance in container logistics. By combining bonded logistics infrastructure with real-time digital workflows, GL Terminal and Envilog are setting a new benchmark for secure, scalable, and efficient supply chain operations in Indonesia. With active operations in Jakarta and integrations across five major port terminals, Envilog plans to expand into key port cities including Surabaya, Semarang, and Belawan, with a longer-term goal of entering regional markets such as Malaysia and Thailand.
