Odfjell Drilling Ltd. is pleased to note the announcement made by SFL Corporation Ltd (“SFL”), which states that the Company, on behalf of SFL, has agreed with a subsidiary of Equinor ASA a drilling contract in Canada, using the Hercules rig.

The contract is for one well plus one optional well and is expected to commence in Q2 2024. The duration of the firm contract period is approximately 200 days including mobilisation and demobilisation to and from Canada. Odfjell Drilling will manage the rig on behalf of SFL under the contract.

The contract will begin following completion of work with Galp Energia in Namibia as per the announcement on 5 May 2023.
