Azerbaijan’s total oil transit in January-September 2024 amounted to 28.8 million tons, of which 75.1% flowed through the BTC.

The volume of transit oil sourced from other countries such as Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan via the BTC rose to 4.005 million tons in January-September from 3.820 million tons in the same period of 2023, the data showed.
