Top U.S. liquefied natural gas (LNG) exporter Freeport LNG has informed BP it expects to resume cargo deliveries this month following a months-long outage, BP Chief Financial Officer Murray Auchincloss said.
BP has delivered 125 cargoes of LNG into Europe over the past 12 months, up 60% from a year earlier, Auchincloss also told Reuters after BP reported bumper profits of $8.2 billion.
BP has the largest offtake contract from Freeport at 4.4 million tonnes per annum (mtpa) through 2040
