Doha Institute for Graduate Studies concluded yesterday a training meeting entitled “National Strategic Reading in Establishing Security and Safety of Ports”, which was organized by the Permanent Committee for the Management of Maritime Ports at the Ministry of Interior, in cooperation with the Excellence Center for Training and Consulting at the Institute.

Thirty officers of the committee’s members working in Hamad International Port participated in the training meeting, which lasted for three days.

The closing ceremony was attended by Chairperson of the Committee Brigadier Dr. Abdulhadi Mohammad Zabin Al Dosari and CEO of the Administrative and Financial Division at the institute, and Acting Director for the Excellence Center Eman Al Sulaiti.

This training meeting comes to upgrade the skills of the working cadres and the participating entities in the facilities of Hamad International Port, to implement security and safety plans in the port, and to learn about the most prominent and most important technologies in this field.
