The U.S. Energy Department’s Energy Information Administration (EIA) has kept its forecast for Azerbaijan’s liquid hydrocarbon production unchanged for 2025-2026, as per Interfax.According to the agency’s monthly forecast, this year’s liquid hydrocarbon production in Azerbaijan will reach 0.57 million barrels per day. July’s forecast was also 0.57 million bpd. Actual production in Q1 stood at 0.57 million bpd and in Q2 at 0.57 million bpd, with Q3-Q4 projected at 0.56 million bpd each (unchanged from previous estimates).For 2026, the EIA expects Azerbaijan’s liquid hydrocarbon production to average 0.54 million bpd. Q1 production is forecast at 0.55 million bpd, Q2 at 0.54 million bpd and Q3-Q4 at 0.53 million bpd each. All forecasts remain unchanged from previous projections.In 2024, the country’s liquid hydrocarbon production averaged 0.6 million bpd.
