Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Friday that interruptions in Russian oil transit via Ukraine were painful for buyers of Russian oil.
Slovakia and Hungary have said that they stopped receiving oil from a key supplier, Russian company Lukoil LKOH.MM, after Ukraine imposed last month banned the transit of resources from the Russian energy company via its territory.
Peskov said that Russia had no possibility of entering into contact with Ukrainian companies responsible for transit and that the decision about the supply restrictions had been taken at a political level in Ukraine.
