NORDEN is happy to welcome Pierre Berkmann as Chief People Officer, effective 1 April 2025.
Pierre will take responsibility for People & Sustainability and join the company’s senior management team. In the role, he will help drive NORDEN’s strategic direction connecting the business with our people agenda, while building organisational strength to deliver on our purpose, values and business objectives.

A business-focused HR executive
Pierre comes from a Chief People Officer role in Danish firm GN Store Nord from 2016 to 2024 and before then was part of AP Møller Maersk from 2004 to 2016, most recently as Asia Pacific Regional Head of HR for Maersk Line in Hong Kong.
An international executive who sees the role of HR as building relevant organisational strength that makes business win in the market, Pierre has extensive experience within performance management, compensation & benefits, strategy implementation, talent management, DE&I, leadership development and M&A and experience from a range of industries including Tech, Shipping & Logistics and Oil & Gas.
