U.S. WTI Midland, and North Sea Brent and Forties crude differentials rose on Friday after strong demand re-emerged from Total, which bought one cargo and tabled higher bids.

Indications are free on board (FOB) unless marked as cost, insurance and freight (CIF) or delivered at place (DAP).
Brent: BP sold to Total Dec. 7-9 at dated Brent plus $1.05, up from the last assessment
WTI Midland: Total bid for Dec. 11-19 CIF Rotterdam at dated Brent plus $2.05, up from the last assessment. The bid equated to around dated plus $1.11 on a FOB basis, Reuters calculations showed.
Forties: Total bid for Dec. 9-14 at dated Brent plus $1.05, up from the last assessment.
Total had bid those three grades higher on Wednesday and did not post indications in the window on Thursday.
Ekofisk still sets the dated Brent value since it is the cheapest benchmark grade worth dated Brent plus 61 cents allowing for the Platts quality premium, according to Reuters calculations.
