Next 10th November, CEPSA Marine Fuels (CMF), in response to market demand, will start supplying RMK 500 in the Canary Islands, specifically in Santa Cruz de Tenerife port. The company already has experienced a great success by setting up, one year ago, a full operative infrastructure for this product in Algeciras. In this location, where one of CEPSA’s refineries produces this so valued marine fuel by an important sector of ship-owners, CMF has managed to add value to its portfolio and to the Strait area itself, being able to attract more traffic.
Now CMF, in response to customers’ demand, has put into place all the storage facilities and operational requirements in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, where CEPSA has a second refinery (a third one is in Huelva).
Once more, CMF looks for Client’s Satisfaction, and its commitment with the bunker market in the Canary Islands.
CEPSA is a 100% IPIC energy group, with a workforce of nearly 12,000 employees, engaged in activities that span the entire oil value chain: exploration and production of oil and gas; refining, transportation and marketing of petroleum products and natural gas; biofuels; and electric power cogeneration and sales. CEPSA has a world-class petrochemicals division that is tightly integrated into its oil refining segment, manufacturing and selling raw materials for the production of high value-added components chiefly used in making new-generation plastics and biodegradable detergents. Not only is CEPSA a major player in Spain, but it is also broadening its global portfolio of operations in countries such as Algeria, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Egypt, Panama, Peru and Portugal, selling its products around the world.
