HD Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering, the intermediate holding company of HD Hyundai specialized in shipbuilding, announced on April 17 that it has recently signed a contract to build 2 LPG carriers with a shipping company based in Europe.

– The total order amount is 230.6 billion KRW.

– The two vessels will be built by HD Hyundai Mipo and is scheduled to be delivered by July 2027.

– Including these orders, HD Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering has received orders for a total of 27 ships worth 4.31 billion USD to date, achieving 23.9% of the annual order target of 18.05 billion USD (provisional).

– By ship type, the company has received orders for 1 LNG carrier, 4 LNG bunkering vessels, 4 LPG/ammonia carriers, 2 ethane carriers, 12 container ships, and 4 tankers.
