U.S. crude oil, gasoline and distillate inventories fell last week, according to market sources citing American Petroleum Institute figures on Tuesday.

The API figures showed crude stocks were downby 3.9million barrels in the week ended July 19, the sources said, speaking on condition of anonymity. Gasoline inventories fellby 2.8 million barrels, and distillates fellby 1.5 million barrels.
