Nigerian crude differentials were heard to be steady on Friday while some details emerged of early trading in Angolan cargoes after the May loading programme was released this week.
A blast ruptured the main Trans Niger Pipeline on Tuesday, which carries Bonny Light, but crude oil flowing into it was routed through an alternative line, its operator Renaissance said this week.
Force majeure was not declared on loadings of Bonny Light crude and loadings of the grade have continued from storage, traders have said. One said loadings are facing a few days’ delay after the incident.
Bonny Light for April 23-24 was last offered at dated Brent plus $2.00 earlier this week. A trader had expected differentials to come under pressure, but no further offers were heard on Friday.
On Angolan grades, Sonangol was heard to have sold a cargo of May-loading Dalia crude this week.
Dalia for May loading was offered at dated Brent plus $1.80, a source had said on Thursday.
