Russia’s seaborne oil product exports in February fell 7.5% from January to 8.72 million metric tons, data from industry sources and Reuters calculations showed.

Fuel export loadings fell due to decreased production and stormy weather in southern regions, according to market sources.

That lower output saw Russia’s offline primary oil refining capacity rise to about 3.5 million metric tons in February from 2.3 million in January, Reuters calculations based on data from industry sources showed.

Several refineries were also hit by drone attacks, including Rosneft’s Ryazan, Syzran and Saratov refineries and Lukoil’s Volgograd refinery.

Total oil product exports in February via the Baltic ports of Primorsk, Vysotsk, St. Petersburg, and Ust-Luga fell by 7.3% from January to 5.0 million tons, data from market sources showed.

Fuel exports via Russia’s Black Sea and Azov Sea ports in February fell 10% month on month to 3.077 million tons.

Oil product exports from Russia’s Arctic ports of Murmansk and Arkhangelsk in February fell 19.3% month on month to 60,100 tons.

Fuel export loadings at Russia’s Far East ports rose 8.5% month on month to 576,500 tons, data from sources and Reuters calculations showed.
