Last Thursday, on the final day of the “7th Green Shipping Summit” in Rotterdam, we presented the start of the EcoClipper spring campaign. A campaign to finance the final stages of launching the sailing ship De Tukker.
The conference in Rotterdam was a resounding success, particularly because more than 100 professionals from all corners of the maritime industry came together, all working on serious solutions for sustainable shipping. An event that would have been unthinkable just a few years ago.

After the campaign launch, a large group of maritime professionals gathered on stage to give it a boost (see photo). Since then, and in the following days, several articles have appeared in national (including Schuttevaer, Zeepost, duurzaam-beleggen.nl) and international (including TradeWinds News, Hellenic Shipping News, Cyprus Shipping News) media. Moreover, we have already received more than 10 new investments, which will be used directly for the equipment of De Tukker.

On Friday, the “EcoClipper Investor Event” took place on and around our ship De Tukker. It was so successful that we decided to organize it again next month, on March 17 (from 2:00 to 5:00 PM).
