Singapore’s HSFO and LSMGO grades remain tight for prompt dates with lead times of 11-12 days now recommended. 9-11 days are advised for VLSFO in the port.
Singapore’s residual fuel oil stocks grew by 3% in Singapore in the week ending 5 October, and averaged 8% higher in the first week of October than in September, according to Enterprise Singapore.
East Asia
VLSFO and HSFO availability for prompt dates remains tight in Zhoushan with lead times of 5-7 days, while gasoil is more readily available with shorter lead times of 1-2 days advised.
Bunkering at Zhoushan’s outer port limits have been suspended since 9 October due to rough weather conditions. It is likely to remain suspended until 12 October, according to White Whale Shipping Agency.
Weather-led disruptions led to bunker congestion in Zhoushan on Tuesday. A total of 20 vessels were waiting to bunker across Zhoushan’s anchorages, up by six vessels from Monday, White Whale said.
Prompt deliveries of all grades are possible in Hong Kong. Lead times of three days are advised.
Bunkering resumed fully in the southern South Korean ports of Busan and Ulsan from Tuesday afternoon. Deliveries had been disrupted by strong winds since the weekend.
Availability is tight for prompt dates in South Korea’s southern ports, with lead times of 3-7 days recommended.

South Asia
Mumbai’s VLSFO availability remains steady with lead times of 2-3 days advised.
VLSFO availability is good in Mundra and Kandla on India’s northwest coast with recommended lead times of 2-3 days.
Lead times for VLSFO in Cochin and Chennai on India’s southern coast are 2-3 days.
VLSFO is also readily available in Haldia on India’s east coast.
Availability of VLSFO in Sri Lanka’s Colombo remains steady. Recommended lead times are around 2-3 days.
Middle East
VLSFO and HSFO availability remains steady in the UAE’s Fujairah with lead times of around 7-8 days. LSMGO has a shorter lead time of around five days.
VLSFO remains available for prompt dates in Oman’s Sohar. Recommended lead times of about three days are advised.
Meanwhile, VLSFO is tight in Duqm. VLSFO replenishment cargoes are expected to arrive in the next seven days, which might improve availability prospects, sources say.
