Thailand’s PTT PTT is seeking six cargoes of liquefied natural gas (LNG) for delivery between Feb. 19 and April 22, three industry sources said on Tuesday.

The tender, sought a on a delivered ex-ship (DES) basis, closes on Jan. 18, the sources said.

LNG prices have recently fallen to their lowest since May last year, encouraging a number of Asian countries to return to the market.

Much of Asia steered clear of the market for most of 2022 because of high prices as Europe sought huge volumes of the seaborne fuel to replace a drop in Russian pipeline gas.
