Ukraine will increase gas imports to 11.4 million cubic meters (mcm) on Monday from 9.9 million on Sunday, data provided by the operator of the country’s gas transmission system showed, with more than half of the volume coming from Hungary.
Ukrainian state oil and gas company Naftogaz said this month it had imported about 800 mcm of gas this year after Russian missile attacks on production facilities curbed output.
Russia has carried out eight long-range attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure so far in 2025.
Ukraine’s gas imports increased almost tenfold in February.
