Libya’s El Feel oilfield is “now undergoing major maintenance that will take time”, two engineers told Reuters, following the country’s National Oil Corporation’s declaration of force majeure on the field as of Sept. 2, according to a statement on Monday.

El Feel field, which has a capacity of 70,000 barrels per day, is operated by Mellitah Oil and Gas, a joint venture between the state oil firm NOC and Italy’s Eni ENI.MI.
