Hungaryian oil and gas company MOL is negotiating a new scheme in which they will bear the responsibility for Russian crude oil flowing through Ukraine, the prime minister’s chief of staff said on Thursday.

MOL is seeking alternative solutions after Kyiv banned its main partner Lukoil’s transport through its pipelines.

But the new scheme will be more expensive and risky, chief of staff Gergely Gulyas said.
