Kazakhstan’s oil and condensate output rose to 223,700 tonnes on Wednesday from 200,100 tonnes a day earlier as the country’s western regions, where oilfields are concentrated, recovered after a power outage, energy ministry data showed on Thursday.
Oil refining in Kazakhstan fell by 2% to 19,000 tonnes, the data showed.
The blackout led to an emergency shutdown of the Atyrau oil refinery.
