Med crude-Urals differentials unchanged, Azeri BTC exports to rise 1% in July

Urals crude differentials remained steady on Friday, while Azeri BTC oil exports from Turkey’s Ceyhan port are set to rise slightly next month.

Azeri BTC crude oil exports from Turkey’s Ceyhan terminal are set at 19.19 million barrels in July compared with 18.40 million barrels in June, according to a loading schedule seen by Reuters.

On a daily basis, Azeri BTC oil loadings will rise by 1% next month compared with June, Reuters calculations show.

No bids or offers were made for Urals, CPC Blend and Azeri BTC crude in the Platts window on Friday.

China’s crude oil imports fell 8.7% in May from a year earlier, official data showed, as refiners scaled back purchases amid heavy plant overhauls, subdued profit margins, and weak demand for refined oil products.
