Indonesian state energy company Pertamina is targeting crude oil output of 416,000 barrels per day in 2025 and gas production of 2,536 million standard cubic feet per day (mmscfd), its deputy CEO said on Thursday at a parliamentary hearing.
Pertamina’s crude oil production was 400,000 barrels per day while its gas production was 2,454 mmscfd last year.
Pertamina Deputy Chief Executive Wiko Migantoro said the company will increase infill drilling and enhanced oil recovery (EOR) to boost production and manage the natural decline of oil and gas fields they control.
“Currently EOR has contributed around 4,000 barrels of oil per day,” he said.
The firm also expects refinery intake for 2025 at 334 million barrels, up from 323 million barrels last year.
